If you are in Hanoi and looking for vegetarian and vegan cuisine, look no further than this article!

When I have a couple of days in Hanoi, I always look for vegetarian restaurants that deliver not only a good taste but also a good space – something that really showcases the care of the owners. In Hanoi, it is easy to find a small vegan restaurant, yet the ones that give you an idea of the owner’s characteristics are limited. That’s why, in this article, I will take you to some very interesting restaurants, with all budgets in mind.

PREMIUM ($$$)
Aummee
The space is gracious, the atmosphere is elegant, and the service is highly professional. This restaurant provides you everything you need for a fancy meal. And that fancy meal is all plant-based. The beauty of the dishes will also delight you at first sight. You will have a variety of choices, from salads to main dishes, and there is no mock-meat served at all.

Zenith Yoga
If you are wondering how a yoga center serves food, visit Zenith Yoga! This place has its own cafe – restaurant, which serves fresh and and healthy food and beverages. Their menu covers both Western and Asian delicacies. Try their quinoa salad and Yogi tea to jumpstart your healthy new life!

Imagine having your healthy meal in an artistic studio, the meal must be beautiful and tasty! This is exactly what you shall get when you visit La Studio. They provide choices of eye-catching dishes that will drive you crazy! Expect to have a joyful time with great photos here!

The Veg – Organic Vego and Tea
Join hands with an eco-friendly team as you have your meal here. This restaurant works with organic farms to make sure your food is grown fresh and organically. The menu is reviewed regularly, and there is always a special weekly menu for families. You should definitely make use of their fresh salad to get that wonderful taste of organic vegetables, but if you want something more crunchy, try their breakfast falafel.

Gelato Italia
At Gelato Italia, the creamy ice cream servings really bring you to their home country! The taste is genuinely Italian. Are you asking why I’m telling you about an Italian place? The menu has select flavors that are vegan friendly, so you can come with your friends who may not be vegan and there will be something for everyone. And here is a hint: Most of their fruity flavors are vegan!

Bo De Quan
This is a small, family-owned vegan restaurant. The interior is clean and neat. It has everything you need to enjoy a fresh and tasty vegetarian meal. If you want something special that you can’t find anywhere else, try their spring rolls, fried rolls, and banana soup.

Opening hours: Mon – Sun 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM

Vegan Banh Mi Food Cart
There is a food cart in the alley 66B Tran Hung Dao street. It is not fancy, instead it’s very local and has been there for years. Yet it has a high rank on happycow.com, and there is a reason for this: the lovely taste! You will find sandwiches, Hanoian banh goi, fried spring rolls, and sweet porridge. Don’t forget to bring your own take-away container so that you don’t waste plastic bags.

Following a vegetarian/vegan diet is becoming more popular in the city, hence you will not find it hard to pinpoint veggie restaurants in town. And yet, arrange your time for one of the places mentioned above, so you may get not only joyful meals but also lovely memorable photo shoots.
